About MAADI Group

Founded in 2005, MAADI Group operates from two production facilities totalling 44,000 sq ft in Mascouche and Mirabel, Quebec. Our work is led by in-house Professional Engineers and Naval Architects (P.Eng./PE) who specialize exclusively in aluminum, supported by CWB-certified welders and IWE-credentialed welding engineers. Quality is governed by an ISO 9001:2015 system, and our team holds 7 patents (6 of them protecting the MakeABridge® weld-free aluminum platform that powers our bridge kits, gangway kits and tactical bridges).

We work as an engineering and manufacturing partner, not a supplier. Our P.Eng. team engages during early-stage design, evaluating whether aluminum is the right answer technically, economically and operationally, then delivers structurally optimized, code-compliant designs aligned with CSA S6, AASHTO, ISO 7061 and BS MA 78. Active participation in INALCO, NATO NIAG and the Aluminum cluster keeps our engineering on the leading edge.

Aluminum Wave Attenuators

Floating wave attenuators engineered to dissipate wave energy and protect vessels, coastlines and marina infrastructure from open-water exposure. Our aluminum floating wave attenuators combine structural aluminum with engineered ballast and mooring systems to handle high wave action without compromising the surrounding environment. Custom-engineered for site conditions, our wave attenuators extend the protected footprint of any marina while preserving water flow and ecological balance.

Aluminum Bridges

Our aluminum bridges are engineered to AASHTO and CSA S6 standards for trails, parks, transit corridors, infrastructure renovation and emergency deployment. From custom architectural footbridges to modular bridge kits and tactical military bridges, every aluminum bridge we design is structurally optimized, lightweight, corrosion-resistant and built for long service life with minimal lifecycle maintenance. Whether the project calls for a permanent pedestrian crossing or a rapidly deployable tactical bridge, our P.Eng. team engineers it from concept through installation.

Custom Aluminum Pedestrian Bridges

Award-winning custom aluminum pedestrian bridges engineered to AASHTO and CSA S6 standards, with seven distinctive style families (St. Lawrence™, Glacier™, Banff™ and others). Each pedestrian bridge is custom-designed and manufactured for parks, trails, urban infrastructure and transit projects, with finishes ranging from clear-anodized aluminum to powder-coated colors and hardwood decking options. Lightweight, corrosion-resistant and prefabricated, our aluminum bridges install fast and last for decades.

Aluminum Bridge Kits

MakeABridge® aluminum bridge kits deliver pre-engineered, weld-free aluminum bridges for trails, parks, golf courses and remote sites. Built around a patented system (6 of our 7 patents protect the MakeABridge® platform), each kit assembles with hand tools, no heavy machinery and no on-site welding. Modular, lightweight and shipped flat-packed in a container, the system enables rapid installation in environmentally sensitive or infrastructure-constrained locations.

Aluminum Bridge Decking

Aluminum bridge decking engineered for accelerated bridge construction (ABC), bridge rehabilitation, military infrastructure, and heavy-duty industrial applications. GuarDeck® is the first Canadian-manufactured aluminum bridge deck system rated for 15-ton vehicle loads, featuring an innovative groove-and-tongue connection system that eliminates the need for fusion welding, preserving full structural integrity and long-term fatigue performance. Designed for superior corrosion resistance, lightweight installation, and decades of continuous service in harsh environments, GuarDeck® delivers a high-performance solution for modern bridge replacement and infrastructure renewal projects. Lightweight aluminum decking reduces dead load on existing structures, accelerates installation timelines, and extends bridge service life with minimal maintenance.

Aluminum Tactical & Emergency Bridges

LVTB® modular and lightweight tactical bridges engineered for military, emergency response and infrastructure crisis scenarios. Our aluminum tactical and emergency bridges ship in a container, deploy in roughly four hours with hand tools, and require no heavy machinery or on-site welding. Award-winning designs developed with NATO NIAG advisory input, built to handle light vehicle loads across uneven terrain, water crossings and disrupted infrastructure.

Our Method

How We Work

Every custom dock, marina system and bridge project follows a structured, engineering-driven process designed to optimize performance, safety and long-term durability. Our vertically integrated approach keeps engineering, design, fabrication and installation under one roof, eliminating the cost overruns and quality gaps that come with multi-vendor project delivery.

  • Project Inquiry & Quotation

You share key project information, including location, intended use, schedule, product type and any available drawings, photos or site data.

  • Engineering Review & Feasibility

Our engineers review site-specific conditions including loads, wind and wave forces, buoyancy, mooring, environmental exposure and applicable design codes to confirm feasibility and establish design parameters.

  • Design & Planning

We develop 2D and 3D models, dock sizing, marina layouts and detailed engineering drawings, ensuring every system is structurally optimized and code-compliant.

  • Fabrication in Canada

All structures are manufactured in-house in Mascouche, Quebec, under ISO 9001:2015 quality controls, certified welding procedures and full engineering oversight.

  • Delivery, Installation & Inspection

Completed systems ship ready for assembly, installed by certified teams or under MAADI Group supervision, with final engineering inspection.

From the first quotation to final inspection, every project is owned by our in-house team.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose MAADI Group?

MAADI Group is a specialized aluminum engineering and manufacturing partner, not a dock supplier or welding shop. Our solutions are led by in-house Professional Engineers and Naval Architects (P.Eng./PE) who specialize exclusively in aluminum, with CWB-certified welding, IWE credentials and ISO 9001:2015 quality controls. With proven leadership since 2005, 8 patents and active participation in INALCO, NATO NIAG and AAC, we deliver engineered aluminum infrastructure built to perform for decades.

What types of aluminum structures do you design and build?

We design and manufacture custom aluminum floating docks, complete marina systems, gangways, wave attenuators and ferry landings for marine and waterfront applications. On the bridge side, we deliver custom pedestrian bridges, MakeABridge® bridge kits, aluminum bridge decking (GuarDeck®) and tactical and emergency bridges (LVTB®). We also design and fabricate aluminum stairs, work platforms and specialty engineered assemblies tailored to project-specific requirements.

What geographical areas do you serve?

We support projects across North America and internationally from our Quebec manufacturing facilities. Active markets include Canada, the United States, the Caribbean (including the Bahamas), Latin America and select Asian markets. Our aluminum structures ship by flatbed trailer or container, supporting growth markets in Florida, the Gulf Coast and the Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman).

What is the process for starting a custom dock or bridge project?

The process begins with a request for quotation that includes location, intended use, schedule, product type and any available drawings or site data. Our engineering team then reviews site conditions and design codes, develops 2D and 3D models with detailed drawings, and fabricates the structure in-house under ISO 9001:2015 controls. Final delivery and installation are handled by certified teams or under MAADI Group supervision, with full engineering inspection.
