The MAADI aluminum pedestrian skywalk connects Alexandra Pier to the Iberville Terminal in Montreal’s Old Port.

Project Specifications

As part of a project to restore the Alexandra Pier and cruise terminal and accommodate an increasing number of cruise passengers, the Port of Montreal needed a visually-pleasing skywalk to complete its new stylish and modern facilities. We built an arched pony truss bridge customized with aluminum handrails, stainless steel “Lock-Tuck” mesh, western red cedar decking, and integrated LED lighting. The pre-assembled bridge was lifted into place by crane and installed in just one day.
