MAADI Group Awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certification

The MAADI Group engineering firm, Montréal, Québec, has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification that meets all requirements and standards for implementing a total Quality Management System.

March 07, 2013 — MONTREAL, CANADA – MAADI Group was awarded this ISO certification by SGS North America, Inc. (Société Générale de Surveillance), for meeting all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements to enhance customer satisfaction through continuous improvement via their Quality Management System, and providing full assurance of conformance to such standards.

MAADI Group designs structural products including pedestrian and lightweight vehicle bridges and marine structures from aluminum components for commercial, industrial and institutional projects for civil (infrastructure), transportation (marine and aerospace), and oil industry applications. MAADI Group engineers focus on the structural and economic advantages of designing with aluminum, creating aluminum bridges and marine structures that are strong, durable and offer a maintenance-free lifespan.

MAADI Group’s quality management system demonstrates control over every step of the engineering process following their procedures manual, from component design through delivery of its aluminum structures. ISO 9001:2008 requires MAADI Group to exercise control over all steps from purchase order review, to purchased materials used in product, through final product delivery. Steps are verified according to the MAADI procedures manual, including mill test reports, non-conformance reports, supplier evaluations, welder certifications, inspections, test and audit reports, and certificates of conformance.

MAADI Group’s ISO 9001: 2008 certification is valid through February 2016, subject to satisfactory surveillance audits by SGS North America, Inc.
