The Quebec company has launched a new product: an aluminum bridge that can be assembled in under 4 hours to aid in natural disaster rescue efforts. The lightweight metal bridge addresses a critical gap in the market for something wider than a narrow pedestrian bridge but less complex than structures designed for armoured vehicles.
Like an IKEA product, the bridge is delivered with everything needed to quickly assemble it, saving rescue crews valuable time. Tested by the Canadian Army for ease of assembly, this new type of bridge is generating interest from businesses and armies in Europe and the Middle East. Making it possible to traverse rough terrain, this new product will help save lives in Canada and around the world.
